One clear photo of the whole vehicle
What do I need to do?
One good photo showing the whole vehicle. It must be of the vehicle you are registering, it must be clear, and nothing cropped out. Upload it to your portal.
If the vehicle has a license plate or plate frame from a foreign country, remove it before you take the photo. Leaving it on can make the DMV require additional import paperwork.
Why is this needed?
The DMV needs a photo of the vehicle to visually confirm it exists. It applies to our Title Recovery process.
